Seasoned Modeling

In my history with modeling, I wish there were a few things I would've known ahead of time to prepare me for what lies ahead. Of course, we all know this industry is very competitive and you will get very blunt feedback. Use that as constructive criticism to fuel your career. Don't take anything too personal or to heart.
For instance, in my early years of modeling, I was sporting short bleached blonde hair. It was dry and not in the best condition, and nether was my skin. And, I definitely was not showcasing a natural look, I loved heavy, dramatic makeup. And, at go sees they want to see very little to none makeup.
And, although I have a strong background in dance, which is good for posing, I didn't feel so natural about posing. It would of helped to look through the latest fashion magazines and practiced posing in front of the mirror. that would of built confidence too.
And, as far as model etiquette, I had absolutely no idea how to present myself. The only good thing I had going was I've always tried my best to be polite and kind. If I could go back to those earlier days and do it over, I would be more vibrant and bubbly, showing my personality.
So, those are a few things to consider. And, with time comes seasoning.
