Are you wearing the right colors best suited for you? Are you knowledgeable as to what your true skin undertone is; whether it's neutral, cool, or warm. A good way to find out is to check your veins, are they blue or green. Blue is cool toned, green is warm. and having both is neutral. Do you look better in silver or gold jewelry? Silver jewelry would make you cool toned and gold would make you warm toned.

Now, let's touch on color theory. Do you favor pastel colors, do they brighten your look or does a bright orange make you look vivid? Hold a pure white piece of paper next to your face without any makeup on, check to see what undertones you are seeing. If you see pink in your skin it would be cool. Yellow would be warm. And, neutral will be a balance.
